Fusion is go!
In an exciting move for Bridgwater College’s HE programme the Foundation Degree in Media Production will hold their end of year show at the prestigious Bristol venue The Paintworks, the first time a Creative Arts Department course has exhibited outside Bridgwater. Titled Fusion to reflect the courses disciplines of radio film making and photography, the event has gathered industry support from Exeter based imaging supplies company Focal Point and Somerset Film and Video. Students will use The Paintworks as a shop window to display their work and skills to the industry in a city which is renowned for being a national media destination. Following a grand opening night from 7.00 until 9.00pm Monday May 9th, the public are welcome until the event closes on Thursday 13th at 12 noon.
We will be presenting a selection of mixed media work constructed by Bridgwater College degree students. There is a range of Photographic, Radio and Film work from travel documentary, animation, tattoos and landscapes, from Bridgwater to Bristol to Los Angeles.
The exhibition will be running from Tuesday 10th May – Thursday 13th May, 10am till 5pm at Paintworks event space, Bath Rd, Bristol BS4 3EH
A Private view will be on Monday 9th May 2016, 7pm till 9pm.
